P1000 Digital tach

Hi Folks,

Im in the middle of a panel upgrade, and a friend gave me a brand new in the box P1000 tach.

Does anyone know if this will work with a plasma 2 ignition? (I know the plasma 2 outputs a tach signal, but Im not sure if it will be compatible with the P1000)
