P-Mag and EICAS

I just downloaded the EICAS program but my computer does not have a serial port, can one use a serial to USB adapter like used on the Dynon first generation stuff to talk with the P-Mags?

Serial adapter worked for me...

Serial adapter worked for me... Even using a Mac with a virtual PC through VMware.

Yes but not all adapters are equal. Buy agreat good one.

We have had good luck with this Gigaware cable from Radio Shack.
