P-Mag & ACS 2005: tach question

I could use thoughts on feeding the PMag tach signal to my ACS2005 engine monitor. As it stands, I just took a single, unshielded wire from the PMag tach output and fed it into the ACS tach sense lug. Is that all that is necessary (other than perhaps recalibrating the ACS for the "double" pulse of the PMag tach output)?

Should be fine

I believe the AF2500 is already configured that way. I did not do a thing other than hook up the wire on mine.
