Had a thought in cruise yesterday while using the ADS-B for winds aloft data.
I have the standard airplane symbol on the map as most of us do.
The wind arrows for a particular altitude often get obscured by either the plane itself, or some other symbology. Declutter sometimes does not help either.
So, I played with the Garmin menus a bit and found that if I use a helicopter symbol, I can see the winds with more ease. It is a very narrow symbol without wings of course. So, if you find yourself with time to spare up high... you might want to try this rather small change. (If you can prevent your RV from being offended....)
