Over doing it for night flight - RV-12

I just finished up customizing the cowling for the RV12. With great help from Al we had to grow the cowl to make room for the Rotax external alternator. It is about a 1 ? inches longer to make room for the pulley and attachments.

Using a drop light to help align and match holes. I though the picture with the light was funny.

My name is John, I'm trying to use an aux alt. Did you have to use a prop extention. Did you have to move the oil cooler etc, could you possibly send
