Is in necessary for the bottom skins to be on (permanently) in order to attach/rig the ailerons and attach the flaps? I was thinking of leaving the bottom outboard skins off untill I've finally decided on which type of pitot tube and/or roll servos I'll use. So the order I was thinking of follows:
1. attach/rig aileron
2. cleco inboard bottom skin on
3 position and drill flap hinge to bottom skin/flap brace
4 rivet bottom inboard skin on and leave the outboard skin for later
Also, wrt mounting the flap - what's the best way to hold it in place while aligning it with the aileron? And is it best to countersink the hinge to accept skin/brace dimples, or countersink skin and brace combo and leave the hinge alone?
