Oil temperature sensor oil leak

Does anyone have a better washer or whatever for the oil temp sensor.
Mine was leaking. Not a ton. Just a wet spot on top of the engine near the sensor. I replaced the washer with one of these. TCM Gasket - Copper
Part# AN900-10
MFR Model# MS35769-11
I installed it 135 degrees past finger tight and safety wired it.
It still weeps oil.
Is there a better way or did I do wrong?

Larry, if you’re asking about sealing the Dynon temp sensor- IIRC, part of the issue is keeping the crush gasket centered. I added a Viton oring on the sensor to center the crush gasket. Not my idea, I found it either here or on the Dynon forum. I’ve done this twice, and both times, no leaks.

If the crush washer leaks, I'll try the o-ring trick.

Will a 5/8" copper crush washer work?
That would be my recommendation. Those an900 gaskets are tough to get them to not leak. These are aluminum threads, so need to be cautious. Need enough to get the crush, but go too far and strip threads out. Might be better off with plastic, like the aisian auto makers use on the oil pan drain.
