Oil Sump - Eng Mount Interference

On my RV-9 with IO320 I would like to go with the forward induction oil sump and do away with the lower cowl air scoop. I have heard that the bulkier angle valve oil sump can interfere with engine mount around the lower attach points. Has anybody been down this road before??
