Oil Line Question

For any of you who have installed a remote oil filter; I'm curious what size line did you run to and from it? I am thinking along the lines of a "-8"...

Unless you have a rally small engine, run -8 for all oil hoses.

My "3" came with an O-290G converted to "D" specs...
