Oil Filter Adapter

I discovered that the Casper Labs 90 degree oil filter adapter will not fit with my B&C SD-20 standby alternator mounted on the vacuum pad. I checked with Casper Labs and they confirmed that this is one combination they cannot make fit.

I would like to install a remote firewall mounted oil filter kit, but would like to know if anyone has one installed with the SD-20 mounted on the vacuum pad and insure that there are no clearance problems.

You need to get a spacer and replacement shear coupling from B&C. They don't show it on their web site but Bill knows all about it.

Order the 2.5" spacer from B&C, or return the whole thing and order the better unit from Mattituck.
