Oil Door Hinge Wear

Anyone have a problem with the hinge bolts on the oil door wallowing out the mounting holes? I'm taking my -12 apart for paint and found both holes wallowed slightly in just 36 hours. Not sure how to fix at this point but I'll need to do something. Just wondering if anyone else has faced this and how they fixed it. Thanks.

One idea - -

Tighten the bolts until there is a slight torque. It helps hold the door open while checking oil also.

550 hrs with no problems with the holes on oil door. Have you had your prop balanced yet? Maybe they were to loose to start with. mine are just one channel back from to tight. Also think about putting some kind of stop on the door or it will open to far and the bottom edge of the door will hit your new paint and scratch it.

Randy, could you post the NAPA part number from the fuel pump you used?
