Oil Cooler on older RV-3

I am in the process of making new baffles to fit my 0235 using some from
a 0320. This RV3 had the old top mounted oil cooler that ran forward down
the engine top centerline. i am replacing with a baffle mounted niagra cooler
that Van now sells. I am going to beef up the cowling and build a standoff
to move back about one inch. Could someone with a similar RV3 please post
some photo's of their oil cooler? Also how big should the rectangular hole
be thru the baffle for air to pass when fully "open".

Thanks

Some one mentioned using some baffle sealing fabric or similar material
to create a thermal break between baffle and oil cooler. Is this instead of
the one inch standoff spacing? I have made a stainless steel plate to really
boost the strength of the rear baffle segment and am considering not using
a spacer and instead use the thermal break material. In addition instead of
cutting a rectanglar air hole drill/punch a series of holes for the air inlet
with the option of later going to a larger opening if needed for additional
cooling. The holes would leave the baffle stronger and somewhat resemble
van's lever operated louver inlet. Any advice welcomed.

Thanks
