This has been discussed before, but I cannot find the thread. How long can 93 oct fuel be kept before the loss of octane becomes a problem in the 912?

If it is significant, is there an additive you can use to extend the in aircraft styorage time?

I do not know the answer to your question. But you could add, say 25 percent, 100LL to boost the octane of old mogas. If my premium mogas has been sitting more than 3 months, I use it in the lawnmower.

Octane drift is only one of the concerns with storage of auto fuel.

The general rule of thumb is anything over 30 days... there is the possibility for problems to develop.

More info regarding other concerns can be found HERE
