nut plate interference

I just noticed I have a problem with the lower nut plate on the fuel pump doubler which is touching the lower motor mount and holding it off the firewall by about a 16th. I won't be able to tighten the two lower motor mount bolts that are left and right of the nose wheel mount without binding. Has anyone else had this problem, and what was your fix.

Shave it

There is a reference somewhere in the plans to shorten the nutplate and screw.

Had same problem, but as mentioned above there is referance to it in directions. I just used grinding tool to knock it down a bit and cut bolt short to just get ~1 thread showing on back side. Worked fine.
