This is our brand new PHA-01 Flap Actuator that will replace the old flap motor in your RV-6, RV-7, RV-8 or RV-9--either if it fails or if you just want to upgrade to a better motor.
Same exact hole-to-hole distance as the OEM motor, same stroke, same speed. Pretty much a drop-in replacement for the RV-8, but you will need to modify the brackets on the RV-6, -7, and -9. We offer an optional bracket kit for these models.
The PHA-01 Flap Actuator will stop automatically at both ends of the stroke, no more motor running indefinietly if you forget to turn off your flap switch. No more migrating grease problems, no more safety-wire service bulletin. This is a very robust actuator that should last you the life of your airplane. If you have position sensing now, the PHA-01 plays well with it. If you don't, installation couldn't be simpler. If you absolutley must have position sensing, take a look at our RV Max.
