RV-12 assembly manual, 35iS/U-02 step 4 says to remove the special washer and the nut next to it from the TR-67 vavle stem before assembling the tube/tire/wheel.
Why is this? The special washer and nut seem to fit nicely in the Matco whlnw51cc nose wheel.
Matco tech documentation for the TR-67 valve installation, but not particular to the whlnw51cc, says to use the washer and nut.
In general I trust what Vans says, but I’d like to understand this.
