Nose wheel fork washers

THE CURVED WASHERS THAT GO UNDER THE FORK : ARE THEY TO BE "MIRRORING" EACH OTHER OR GOING THE SAME DIRECTION? THE PIC IN THE PLANS IS NOT ALL TOO CLEAR AND HAVE YET TO FIND A GOOD PHOTO ON A BUILDER LOG. THE PLANS STATED THE RIM OF THE WASHERS SHOULD TOUCH EACH OTHER. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT

When installed per Dave12's reply and torqued properly, they will act as springs and consistently provide the proper amount of resistance to nose wheel pivoting. Important for taxiing control, shimmy damping and backing the airplane into the hangar. (The RV12 is much easier to land than it is to push into a hangar)
