nose stiffener mistake

After a good 4 hour proseal session I riveted the end t-410 on to the wrong side of the rib. I understand this little D shaped part is just to help seal the tank -- not structural. It wont be doing much good where it is, but is this something I should undo? It seems like the effort of drilling it out and cleaning it up to install on the other side would outweigh it's use.

Here's what it looks like:

I say just leave it.

It's a much bigger mess to drill it off, clean it off, remove the shavings, proseal, rivet and encapsulate.

It's fine where it is.

nope

as you can tell from the dimpled screw holes and rib shape/orientation, that's the right tank outboard rib.

You can place that 410 inside or out and its not "sitting in somebody else's seat"

If it were the inboard rib, my answer would have been quite different.

Thanks guys -- i tend to agree. I just wanted to make sure this wasn't going to be in the way of anything. I searched the VAF threads and it seems not to be structural.

Building on!
