We are installing the "new style" elastomeric nose gear on our RV7-A. Just completed fitting the nose wheel pant and gear leg fairing. I'm wondering what people do at the upper end of the gear leg fairing where it meets the lower cowl. Obviously it is going to move a fair amount, so I can't make a permanent interface. I have made a closeout for the aft end of the gear slot in the cowl, but I would love to see what people are doing where the gear leg intersects the lower cowl. Any photos welcomed. Thanks!
