Nose Gear Fairing

The gear-leg to cowl intersection fairing.

Aren't all A models gears basically the same? I don't have an intersection fairing on my 6A and the piano wire from the trailing edge goes thru a bracket to keep the fairing where it needs to be.

I built per plans (dated~2006) and mine is exactly as Jamie describes.

The -6A plans had you fill the fairing with some sort of goop (not sure what it was). The 7A/9A plans have you leave the fairings as is.
