Nice job on Oil, now let’s talk Fuel System

Thanks for all the input on my previous Oil System questions. On to the fuel system. I’m replacing an O360-A1D with a YIO360-A1B6 on my 7A. The Fuel Injection system is by Avstar. Couple of questions:

1) High Pressure Pump - What is best pump option? I only have a shallow tunnel between fuel selector and firewall. I can easily raise the tunnel to a height of 2-3”. Beyond that creates carpet issues. Does confined space create a heat issue?

2) Fuel flow transducer - Where did you install this?

3) Gascolator- Should it go away?

4) Fuel Pressure - Have been told to not run a line from mechanical pump to sensor on firewall but seems this is the norm. Any issues/thoughts?

5) Is there a good single source document for Fuel Injection operations? (Starting, timing for boost pump, etc)

6) Any other random thoughts?
