New trim tray and connector

My wings are finished and I am working on the finishing kit. I read Bruce Russell's show and tell on the trim tray and improved connector, Can someone give me the kit number if this is available as a kit? I can see that the new configuration is much neater, but were some builders having problems with the spade type connectors? I can understand that the new connector is more Murphy proof, but assuming that the spade connectors are connected properly, has anyone had problems with the original configuration?

I soldered the wires together using this method:

The splices are so small and neat that they all fit inside of the cushion clamp, out of sight. To the casual observer, it appears that there are no splices, just excess wire held with a cushion clamp. I trust soldered connections more than fast-on connectors, as long as the splices are securely supported to prevent flexing.
