New tail for RV-6

Hi guys.

My RV6A suffered some damage after a nosegear collapse last year.

85% of the tail needs to be renewed. (HS,VS, Rudder and elevator).

I was wondering if it would be possible to fit an RV7 tail instead. It would probably be a lot faster since it is prepunched, but how would it "bolt on" the plane.

Is it "easy" to put it on.

What about the horizontal tail parts of the -7 or -8 on a -6?

Parts

The factory told me the 7 parts will fit fine, but the 8 was too narrow. Meaning the 8's fuselage is narrower than the 6's at that part of the fuselage.
So my thinking says the optimum set of NEW parts is a -7 tail with an 8 rudder.
