New Notification - Stab rib cracks

Don, I periodically check the RV-12 service information/revisions bulletins for any updates. Van's didn't consider this particular issue to be flight critical, so I assume that's why they didn't see the need to notify individual builders. However, they do advise builders to check the site for any updates and notices.

I reviewed all the plans modifications recently and realised I'd missed a couple somewhere along the line. Fortunately nothing that has caused me any problems so far.

I am glad you do that and share. I should more often, but since my kit is pretty new I wait for notification. Last one, lthey had my email address wrong and I thought I got that corrected.

3 cracks in one rib

I checked my ribs and I found 1 rib with 3 cracks
I think I will order a replacement part rather than trying to repair
I'm going to call them Monday and see what they say.

I repaired my cracked rib as is described in notification. It seems to be OK

I have found cracks in 2 ribs and plan to repair as per instructions.
