New Nav and Landing lights

I have a 2005 RV-4, and decided to modernize the Nav and and landing lights. I have the Flat Top W-415 wing tips and wanted to aerodynamically clean up the exposed external nav lights. A call to Flyboys got me the FlyLED Nav & Strobe boards, and their 4 LED landing lights to go into the Duckworks brackets. Since I don’t have a light on my rudder, I got creative and implanted a LED strip from eBay into the trailing edge of the wingtips. I bought Flyboys wingtip lenses, and had to fabricate flanges for them. I still have to paint the wingtips, but so far, I’m really happy how they came out!

I don't want to rain on your parade, but....
If you are planing on flying at night, your Op Limits almost certainly refer to the FARs which say "approved position and anti-collison lights". The FAA seems happy with a manufacturer's statement that their lights meet the applicable performance specifications, and Paul (FlyLeds) has issued such a statement. What does E-Bay say about your aft (white) nav lights, both brightness and angular coverage? Also, since the strobes are recess mounted in the wing tips, they can't be seem from behind. You'll need some sort of aft-facing anti-collision light there, too.

Good point.. I do plan to add a red Vertex to the top of the vertical stab like others here have done, and even the rudder strobe when I get the desire to remove the paint to find the rivets holding the lower rudder cap on.
