I'm looking for a glass cockpit safety pilot. I installed a G3X/autopilot and the GTN625 in my RV9. I have spent the last 6 months learning how to use the equipment. I'd like to connect up with a G3X pilot in the NH area to trade off being safety pilot while maintaining IFR currency.
I'm a CFII so it might work to connect with an instrument student wanting to build time and experience working in the ATC system or, another option would be to connect with a person installing a GTN6XX system and wanting to gain experience using it. I know it took me a while to feel comfortable learning how to fly with the G3X/GTN625, and I'm still learning so flying with someone while learning might be a real plus.
