New DeWalt Screwdriver

Just in time for the builders Xmas list.....

DeWalt has a new line of 12V compact tools. This one is a real winner:

The picture makes it look like every other DeWalt drill you've seen, but don't be fooled. It is about half the size of a conventional cordless drill driver, around half the weight, and fits the hand perfectly. The "chuck" on this model is limited to 1/4" hex bits. The clutch is sized for accurate torque on the little #6, #8, and #10 screws we use. It also has a set of LED lights in the nose which switch on with a half trigger pull. The trigger is also variable speed. Comes with two batteries. Also has rubber pads on the sides so you can lay it on a painted surface without flinching.

Lowes (and probably others) has them for $139 with a free DCL510 LED worklight.

I've had one at the airport a few weeks now and everybody who has tried it loved it.
