I'm still working on moving my butt to Dallas! As I search for the perfect hangar home, I am more and more considering building my own.
I currently live in Michigan and I do not have the time or knowledge to take on a project like this myself. Therefore, I will need to hire a general contractor to organize a hangar/home build if this is the route I take.
Has anyone here ever built their own hangar or hangar home? This is a new experience for me so I'm kind of ignorant on the whole process. (actually, I seem to be ignorant on most subjects...
)
I'm in need of a recommendation of a good, trusted general contractor who is familiar with this kind of construction. I'm looking at Hick Airfield west of DFW so a local contractor is preferred.
