Navaid Servo

I will shortly be installing a Navaid Servo in my wings. I've noticed that most install them in the right wing. Is there any reason why it could not be installed in the left wing. I will be installing a Nav antenna in the right wing tip and would like to install the servo in the left wing if possible so that I will not be running all the wires/cables though the right wing. Any input would be appreciated.

You can mount it in either wing. I placed mine in the left wing as well, and only had to reposition the servo arm. In some instances you will need to reverse the direction the motor moves which in looking at the directions is not a major undertaking.

Regards,

The pitot tube and associated plumbing is in the left wing, and could potentially get in the way of removing/installing the servo. Something to consider. Mine's in the right wing.
