I am new to kit building and am wavering on the -12 wondering about the anti-collision lights and autopilot options. These would be important to me. I see the switches on Van's red plane, so they must be in the works. As a guestimate, would it be weeks or months for these options to appear? Are there E-LSA issues that could prevent them from appearing as part of the kits? If you start building now, how difficult would it be to add, for instance the Dynon AP servos, later? Would you have to do much disassembly? I read where there are instructions to include pull strings for lights in the wings, so adding the lights may not be a big deal. I really want to build this, been organizing my shop and garage and even ordered some tools.
