Mounting the windscreen with SikaFlex

I am bonding my canopy and windscreen with SikaFlex. I am using tongue depressors for spacers everywhere except the lower part of the roll-over structure where there is almost 5/16" gap at the bottom. How is everyone dealing with that gap if you are gluing your windscreen?

I filled it with the glue.
By the time you glass the thing in, believe me its not going anywhere.
