Mixing lid

Has anybody actually used the paint mixing lid that stays on the can? ...i.e. Rockler mixing lid...seal, mix, pour....likes , dislikes? I would use it for primer.

Yes, I used it on Azko primer. It worked very well.

It made it much easier to pour out just a small amount of primer to primer small batches of parts

The pour spout did get a bit of build up over time that needed to be cleaned off once in a while - not a big deal.

I would definitely recommend this product.

If you'll make 6 holes in the groove that the lid fits in, it will drain any paint or primer that gets in it. Then the lid will not be held up by a puddle of paint. The groove will be sealed by the lid and also the holes.
