I bought Aeroflash strobes for my 9A .... a separate single-strobe power pack in each wingtip and a third for the rudder. The round Aeroflash strobe light that goes on the rudder tip is notably bigger than the round spot on the rudder bottom. I don't really want to mess with modifying the rudder bottom to fit. I'm thinking now of buying a Whelen rudder-tip strobe lamp (which I know is the right size) and powering it from the Aeroflash power pack I've already installed in the tailcone. Does anyone know if there are compatibility "issues" in mixing Whelen strobes with Aeroflash power supplies?

Oh man, I bought exactly the same setup and didn't know this was going to be a problem. I'm sort of regretting skimping on the strobes. I wish I just would have gone for Whelen strobes.
