Minimum Grass Field Length for a -12

We are hoping to move to the country to get as little effected by this govt as possible
Being in central Tx the land is relatively flat and I am holding out for enough property to put in a strip suitable for the -12.
Would 1,200' with clear approaches do it?

Hey Rick

I'd say yes with these understandings. Grass must be mowed well. Practice on a longer strip until you learn completely how to land. If you are 5 - 10 knots too fast, you will float for ever, especially in cooler weather.
