Metallic brakes with pins

Has anybody used metallic brakes with the pins like Cirrus or Extra 300 use? The pads snap onto the backing pads, and they seem more durable.

Don't know but didn't both of those product OEMs make Beringer their standard? They are certainly an option the past xx years. Are asking about the Beringer product or something else?
