Mechanical fuel pump cooling

I noted that all pipers and cessnas has a ventilation hose and a special housing for cooling porpouses. I never seen these in mi plans or in other RV logs, please can someone tell me if it is necesary for our RV?s

Do a search for "cooling shroud". You'll find lots of ideas, opinions & such.

You can purchase a cooling shroud and install it, but not many RVers have found them necessary. The install process can be very frustrating as well unless you have not installed your engine yet. I wouldnt bother.
