Master Solenoid

OK folks, Question time, What MASTER SOLENOID or contactor have you used?

I have a thread runniing in the electrical section regarding sticking solenoids, onto my third now and if you wish to read that thread before making the obvious suggestions, it may save some space here.

I have now fitted a 225A /12v Cole Hersee with a 600A inrush rating as the master.

Its still sticks after running the engine, drops out after a short while.

I am interested to see what others are using and what success they have had, or any failures!

Studying the drawing I found the bug......its not the solenoid but the VSR able to back feed for a short time!

You know one small design "feature" can be so hard to spot yourself. I will give the culprit a severe dressing down ohhhh ouch ......... that hurt!
