MA4-5 carb Fuel Inlet

Does anyone know if the fuel inlet on the MA4-5 carb can be installed on either side of the carb body. Photos seem to always show the fuel inlet opposite the throttle arm. I have an exploded view schematic that shows it on the same side as the throttle arm.

Either side is OK

Thanks. Might need to route to the other side for a new fuel flow transducer.
