LSA repairman course

Just a note to put out. A few of us in the central Ohio area have been considering booking a repairman course. Currently, there are 4-5 interested. The minimum number for this instructor to be "booked" is 8. The price talked about is 325-375 dollars each. it will be a 2 day weekend course. Just announced. In Oshkosh, April 30th. Byron Greenlaw is a VERY GOOD instructor. Took his course at EAA Hq a few years back with John Bender.

EAA SportAir Workshops presents its ELSA Inspection Certification course for airplanes the weekend of April 30, at the EAA Aviation Center, Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

What You Will Learn
Earn Your FAA Repairman/Inspection certificate for your ELSA airplane. This FAA-approved workshop will allow you to obtain a repairman/inspection certificate for your airplane certificated in the experimental light-sport aircraft (ELSA) category. This certificate authorizes you to perform the annual condition inspection on your airplane. This two-day course will be held on Saturday, April 30, concluding Sunday, May 1. Class hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, ending with a 50-question certification test. The full 16-hour participation is required to earn your Repairman Certificate. EAA member price is $299. NOTE: There is an additional 10 percent discount for SportAir alumni.

About The Instructor
Instructor Byron Greenlaw is a certified FAA mechanic with Inspection Authorization. His 30-year career has spanned all aspects of aircraft operations, maintenance, and repair. Mr. Greenlaw will be a great resource for inspection training of your ELSA aircraft.
