Looking for a PM1200 PIREP

Looking for PIREPs on the PS Engineering PM1200 intercom in an RV.

The idea of the IntelliVox circuit in a tandem (RV-8) sounds appealing, what with not having to worry about monkeying around with the rear seater's squelch based on head/mic position, vents, differing headset impedence, open canopy while taxiing etc. As an aside, are there any advantages to the AMP circuit of the PM1200 in an RV?

At this point in my planning stereo music inputs are not a priority for me, and one aux input would be sufficient. Scope creep may change things between now and when the time comes, but I'll cross that bridge when the time comes.

Works good, last long time

I have a PM 1200 in my Pitts S-2B which is quite a bit louder than a typical RV due to the 6 into 1 exhaust and it works great. No problems, no monkeying around with anything, just turn it on and go. I should point out that I also have Oregon Aero leather mic muff booties on my mics - that might have something to do with the success too...

Good Flying,

Josh P.
