Longeron Slots in Bulkhead not Wide Enough

Did anybody else have to widen the slots in the bulkheads to fit the longerons?

My longerons are .130" wide, while my slots are only about .122" wide. Of course, I didn't find this out until you first put them together (marrying the aft and center fuselage portions), at which time th side skins are already riveted in place, except for the last 5-6 rivets. Hopefully, I can bend the skins away enough to get a tool in there to widen the slots.

Rich-
This is very common in my experience. Just widen them as little as necessary. You'll want to have the longeron out of the way, though, when you do this. Then a file, sand paper, or deburring tool should be all you need. Good luck.

Yeah, Rich - just a few passes with a flat file, debur, then was good to go. Everyone I know has had to do this.
