Long plastic tubing on elevator cable

I'm New Here
Hello everyone
My first attempt at a posting here. I started building my RV4 kit about 16 months ago and with the enormous amount of information here on this sight you guys have answered all my questions just by lurking. (Im ashamed to admit I just payed my dues today) my tail is done wings are mostly complete just final rigging, fuselage mostly complete, finish kit coming mid January.

My question is what is the longer plastic tubing on the rudder cables for? The shorter one is for the clamps at the fuselage exit point but the longer ones remain a mystery to me.

The cable with the longer tube goes on the port side.

It protects the cable that would rub on the manual trim lever if you have one.

Thanks that makes perfect sense, I have both electric flaps and trim so no controls on that side. I must have missed it in the build manual.
