Can someone someone PLEASE take a picture of the holes in the fuse floor for the flap pushrod? I'd like to cut the hole - at least get close, but the rough size and shape is what I need.
They are a bit larger and a different shape. The reason is the flaps move aft just a bit due to the different hinge arrangement.
Here is a picture of mine:
You will have to just start filing until the rod end retracts into the hole and there is room for the rod to move for and aft.
FYI, when I first started flying I found that one of my rods would rub when deploying flaps in a turn. It was simple enough to grab a small file, disconnect that flap and enlarge the hole about a 1/16".
