Lightspeed Mounting

Anyone have ideas and/or pictures about the best place and way to mount the Lightspeed II ignitions system control units? I understand that they should not be mounted to the firewall. I was thinking about mounting them under the front deck ribs using some bracing accross them.

I mounted my LS III between the subpanel and the firewall. I installed 1/2" angle across the bottom of the fw to subpanel ribs, attached platenuts and mounted the LS III and my AF2500 module there. I can simply remove the screws and drop the units down if I need to work on them.

I mounted mine to the firewall, way up on top. It works fine and I would definitely do it this way again. Its very easy to get to for maintenance, etc.
I used your proposed method for mounting my engine monitor computer, however, and that works just fine, as well.
