Lifter failed hammer handle test

Had this orginally posted to John's perfect day. Was suggested that I move it to its own thread.

Had first engine run today and things went really well till we got to the lifter check. Number four cyl has one lifter that will not pass the hammer handle check.

Yesterday an authorized Rotax repair center A&P replaced the defective lifter and the hammer handle check was passed ok. Warranty work so no cost to me . Takes about an hour to replace a lifter and most of that time is getting the stuff out of the way to pull the cyl. out far enough to get the lifter out.
