My exhaust system failed last June. I ordered a new system July 1st. Still waiting for new system.
A couple of weeks ago I was given the contact of a person that does exhaust repair work, emailed pictures of my broken exhaust system and replied he could fix it.
Dropped it off at his shop and a week later it was done. He repaired a damaged socket on the muffler, replaced the end of exhaust pipe that was eroded, (he had a tool to make new ends of the exhaust pipes) welded up a cracked pipe. Reinstalled the system on the engine and it likes like new.
If there are other legacy 12 owners with a similar problem and looking for someone to repair your exhaust you can PM me and I will send you his contact information. His shop is in Wisconsin.
