Landing Light Pulse Test

Used the old 9V battery to test my almost final installation of the landing light.

BTW, drilling and cutting holes in a perfectly good leading edge sure is nerve-wracking.

If I had to do it all over again, I would start smaller and go slower. There is sure not a lot of distance between those screw holes and the opening.

At least you (and me too) installed the lights during construction which was hard enough. I can't imagine what the first wave of builders did when they had to install the lights AFTER the wing was completed. That must have been a higher level of stress!

nerve wracking?

Oh yah, gives a whole new meaning the the old adage "measure twice, cut once"! And I discovered new ways to contort my wrists and elbows. It really paid off putting extra pull strings in when I first built the wings.
