Landing light cut-out

I hate to be the one to tell you this, but you are one rib off.

Kidding!

Nice write up.

That was funny!

But I still had a fraction of a second of doubts!
Watch out Geico, I will get you one day!

I must have read the instructions 10 times before I cut. It is tough cutting into a finished wing!

I still remember that I was sick to my stomach when drilling the hole for the light cutout and I almost threw up. The thought of "what if I'm wrong..." just wouldn't go away. Turned out nice though (shoulder pat)... :)
Good idea, Jean-Pierre, to write that up as the manual is intended for post construction installation.

Don't Worry Montra

When uncertainty creeps in an operation like cutting into a virgin wing, I use my "working on my car" montra...."Don't worry, can't do anything wrong that MONEY WON'T FIX!!!"

Yep, I hated cutting into my freshly created leading edge.

I used an air body saw from Harbor Freight and it worked like magic.
