landing gear weldments

is it necessary to keep the false spar installed after the landing gear weldments are fitted and installed? it seems there is no opportunity for anything in the -804 area to move, dimensionally speaking, at this point.

False Spar

I removed mine when installing the weldments with no ill effects.
I did have quite a time getting the gear weldments installed. A lot of hand tweaking and filing of the holes to get everything to fit properly.
