I guess my airplane has had this problem since I purchased it and I have finally decided to address this issue. The screen does show and it does dim with the lighting dimmer, but it is down in the depths of an RV-8 panel and it just does have great illumination in daylight.
The installation manual online doesn't seem to address the issue. Anyone here with any experience or thoughts on what I should look at?
It certainly doesn't look like this screen-shot. It is more dark grey and light grey colors.
I suppose it could be the vertical viewing angle. I need to look at it straight on.......which is not going to happen in an RV-8 in flight.
